Welcome to Sloyd.com

Graphic of Sloydia Rock

Sloyd.com is the website for Sloyd, a gay man in his 50's, who is a retired sailboat captain. Sloyd.com used to be the website for Sail More Life, a gay sailboat charter business in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. That business has been closed for years and the sloop 'More Life' has been sold, if you came to sloyd.com looking to sail, so sorry, you missed the boat. Sloyd has his biography on this site, along with photos. If you are under 21, offended by homosexuality or nude men, please do not enter the other pages on this site.

Photo of SloydSloyd has had an interesting life. These days he spends winters in urban Florida, and long summers in rural south central Kentucky. He focuses daily on weight training, other interests are music (both collecting music and playing instruments), digital photography, working on and enjoying his country acreage in the summer, bicycling in the winter. There are more photos and information about Sloyd and his life in 'Meet Sloyd'.

Photo of view from SloydiaSloyd invites other gay men to enjoy a camping vacation in the summer at Sloydia. This lovely property is on a river, allowing for swimming, small boating, and fishing, in addition to hiking to a nearby mountaintop. There is a free weight gym on the property, Sloyd would enjoy a visitor who is also a weight training partner. Each year Sloydia is the site of the KY Gay Camp on the last weekend in August, for more on this, along with photos click on 'Visit Sloydia'.

Photo gemstone with email address

Sloyd has a new email address, displayed within the photo of one of his gemstones. Because of spam, the email address must be retyped into an address line. The email address is the word "email", followed by the "at" symbol above the number 2 on your keyboard, then followed by "sloyd.com", all lower case with no spaces. Only humans, not spam software should send me email, please!

Sorry for the inconvenience, but his previous email address filled with several hundred spam messages each day.
